Prom and Airplanes!

 So this morning I woke up a new person (not really), but I got my $1000 (money for not kissing anyone till senior prom) today, and it felt really good to have earned that. I don't know who the lucky person will be, but that doesn't really matter haha. Anyways, prom was today and it was so fun!!! We ate at Brio, it's a Tuscan place! In our group we had me and Ryan, JT and Anna, and Jacob and Natty. Couldn't have asked for a better group! After we ate we headed over to the dance, and danced for a solid hour and a half! It was the funnest thing! Then he walked me out to the car and my parents picked me up! I had to leave early cause... I have to catch my flight for the Disney cruise tonight! AHHHH I'm so excited!!!!! Haha our flight is at 11:50, so we're just waiting in the terminal right now! I'm so excited for this vacation, because it's going to be one to remember forever! These next 2 months are going to be great, and I couldn't be more excited!

Herriman Track Meet

Today was the best day ever. EVER. We (Lone Peak) had a track meet at Herriman. It was windy, and there was rain here and there. Most of all though, there was lightening and thunder! It was so epic! Haha anyways, we got to pole vault, and it was so much fun. We all lined up and I was like the 6th person to go (there was 10 girls). I went and cleared the first height (6 ft) I was super happy cause I didn't want to mess that up haha. Then it was time to go for 6'6"! I hadn't gotten over that height with a bar before. I went and didn't make it. So then I went back and got warm, and waited for my turn. I was up again, and this time I raised my grip. I went and hit the bar, BUT it didn't fall!!!! I had made it over! Haha it was the BEST feeling ever!!!!!! When it was time to go 7ft (I didn't make it over 7 haha) I raised my grip, and I made it high enough to go over, but I didn't row or swing hard enough! So then I fell backwards (which is terrifying). I ended up taking 4th, and I'm so happy with that. I really can see the improvement over these past 2 months with pole vault. I honestly have the best team, and coach! Yes not coach(es) because drake had his last practice with us and didn't even tell us yesterday! So chandler is the only coach left, but he's the bomb. The boys ended up winning over Herriman, so that's good! Pole vaulters did pretty well I think this meet, I'm so grateful for this awesome team of mine.

Track and Friends

Today I finally went back to school after battling awful food poisoning the past day and a half! I don't really know where it came from, but it was awful! I noticed something today though as I was at lunch, my friend group isn't how it was at all at the beginning of the year. Girls come into the friend group and take your guy friends away, and then soon enough you're just old news. Everybody wants the latest and greatest thing, but if you aren't the latest and greatest, you find who your true friends are. I came to find that also at lunch today. I'm tired of all the drama I had before, but I am glad I was friends with those people. I learned a lot, but I can't say they were my true friends. I'm glad for the young men at my school who see me more than just a person, but who actually enjoy talking to me, and who actually want to hang out with me. Bronson is a great example of that! Also, I had track today after school, and I have the best team ever!!! It was hard at practice today cause of the recovery of my food poisoning, but I realized today how close my team really is...

We're all just getting older...

With all of the mission calls coming up, I realized something. We're all growing up too fast. I only have a little over a month left before I graduate, and then 2 months after that I move out! My "reality" life is just starting and it's scary! You really find out who your true friends are at the end of senior year. These are just a few of the mission call openings I've been to this year, I'm honestly so excited for all of my friends on their crazy journey!! Everyone is either moving out, going to college, or going on a mission. I can say I'm excited for the future, but I will miss a lot of amazing people I met in high school.

My friends

 You know when you have those really good friends that will always be there for you? You know how when you're dealing with something and you need someone to be there for you? I am blessed with the most amazing friends. These 2 young men are my best friends in this entire world. We can talk about anything (literally) and we always have a good time. I don't want them to leave on their missions because I'll have no one to talk to late at night, and go to cafe rio with. These guys are like my brothers, and I'm going to miss them so much when they leave.
